Groups that match your ability
At SKISCHULE PERTL, the skiers are placed into groups based on their ability level allowing to provide the best learning experience possible. Group lessons are available at Ski Beginner, Ski Advanced and Ski Expert level.
Please read below to see a description of our classification system. You’ll need to select the right ability level for online bookings or reservations.
Ski Beginner
First Time on Skis, no ski poles
Lessons take place in one of our two practice areas. The kids learn: to get used to their ski gear, maintain balance, gliding and turning exercises, the snowplow, and controlled stopping
The Children’s Worlds, our specially designed learning terrains are perfectly equipped for little beginners. Even the youngest children can safely make their way up the slope using the magic carpet (conveyor belt).
With us, your little skiers will learn to ski through play. Our specially trained children’s ski instructors ensure that fun and enjoyment of skiing aren’t neglected while they’re learning. Nocky, our mascot, helps to motivate and inspire the little ski racers.
Our Specials for Beginners:
- Two state-of-the-art practice areas with a total of 4 magic carpets and 1 rope tow to help you get up the slope
- Nocky’s Snow Time, right next to our children’s area at the “Übungswiesenlift”
Ski light Advanced
Once you’ve mastered braking, you’ll solidify what you’ve learned. At the meeting point at Schlosshotel Seewirt at the “Wildkopfbahn”, this takes place at the ski school’s own rope tow. At the meeting point by the “Übungswiesenlift”, we’ll use “Nocky’s Schneezeit” for this.
Afterward, you’ll ski down blue runs.
What to expect: Learning how to use the lift, making your first turns in the plow position, building confidence, and learning to brake safely
Ski Advanced
You have experience on blue to slightly red slopes, use the plow technique when turning, you drive the diagonal route paralle and you have control over your speed.
Our ski instructors use the lifts and slopes at Turracher Höhe that are best suited for your skill level. Through fun and games, we’ll turn your children into enthusiastic winter sports enthusiasts.
