In addition to the SKISCHULE PERTL ski school at Turracher Höhe, our family also runs an organic mountain farm.

Situated 1,350m above sea level at the foot of the Nockalm Road, our farm enjoys a fantastically sunny and secluded position between Ebene Reichenau and Turracher Höhe.
Tucked away one kilometer off the main road, it offers a peaceful retreat in the tranquility of rural life.  

The Dicktlhof has been owned and operated for more than 100 years by the Pertl family.

In 2003, we have chosen to become certified organic with about 40 suckler cows allowed to spend the summer periods grazing on alpine pastures.

A special experience for us and our guests is the red deer rut. From mid-September to mid-October, there is lively rutting activity around the house and farm.

Additionally, we offer our guests the possibility to hunt deer, chamois and marmot.

Fragrant mountain air in combination with the invigorating high-altitude climate of the Alps makes hiking in summer extra special. While the impressive mountain peaks of other regions literally can take your breath away, you need not worry about running out of steam in the gentle hills of the Nockberge. The Nockberge Biosphere Park’s exceptional fauna and flora holds many surprises – and as our guest you’re staying right in the center of it all!!

Enjoy your individual ‘Nockberge’ moment, whether it be on a romantic alpine pasture, memorable summit tour or action-packed cycle path, the Nockberge convince with their varied leisure options for visitors of all ages.  

With the ski lifts of the Turracher Höhe ski region in near vicinity (5 km), our farm is a great base for sports fans in winter.

Upon presentation of our guest card at the cash desks of the Turracher Höhe Bergbahnen, you’ll receive a small discount on ski passes valid for a minimum of 1.5 days.

Holiday apartments

There are two holiday apartments on the second floor of our farmhouse that we rent out to guests all year round.

Zirben apartment (one-room apartment) – non-smoking, approx. 29m2.
Built with eco-friendly materials and furnished with pleasant solid stone pine wood, kitchenette (fully equipped with all the necessary cooking and eating utensils, fridge with small freezer and two electric hotplates), small seating area, two-seater sofa, shower/toilet, hairdryer, sat-TV and balcony with a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains. 

Rauterapartment (separate bedroom and living area) – non-smoking, approx. 35m2.
Kitchenette (fully equipped with all the necessary cooking and eating utensils, fridge with small freezer and two electric hotplates), mini oven, large dining area, comfortable pull-out corner sofa (bed for 2 children), separate shower and toilet, hairdryer, sat-TV and balcony with a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains.
